My nod to Tolkien's Lord of the Rings. Tree bark cables around the body with a scaly leaf pattern for the sleeves.

Body is knit in the round to the underams then worked back and forth, same as for sleeves.

Cable/stitch charts with rnd x rnd & row x row instructions.

One 3mm (US 3) 32"/81 cm (for size S) or 40"/101.5 cm (for Sizes M,L) circular knitting needles or size to obtain gauge.

Four 3mm (US 3) double-pointed needles or size to obtain gauge.

Cable needle, stitch holders, markers, darning needle.

40 sts and 40 rnds/rows = 4"/10 cm with 3mm (US 3) needles over chart A pattern.
