Needles 'n' Notions - Two 6 mm (US 10) knitting needles, four 3.75 mm (US 5) double-pointed, four 4.5 mm (US 7) double-pointed needles or size to obtain gauge, one 4.5 mm crochet hook, stitch holder, markers and darning needle.

Yarn - Any knitting worsted of your choice, 3.5 oz/100 gm approx. = 220 yards/200 metres

Gauge - Mittens, Hat, Headband - 20 sts and 26 rows = 4"/10 cm with 4.5 mm (US 7) needles in stockinette st. Scarf - 27 sts and 21 rows = 4"/10 cm with 6 mm (US 10) needles in 1x1 ribbing.
