Kathleen Day writes: "I finished my rendition of Brenda Zuk's Sylvan hat. Because I made it to fit a baby/toddler and the pattern is designed for an adult hat, I compressed the pinecone substantially and left off the boughs above it.

But, the design is still pretty and I'm pleased with the hat. I dyed it with one packet of orange Kool Aid thinking it might come out a soft orange...nope! It's neon!"
